Andrew Pierce and Ashley Hudson were aware that there was no turning back once they met in their Hamburg church. Ashley was just 17 years old and never had a boyfriend, so they took it slow. The two fell in love on first sight. Andrew asked God to bless him on New Years Eve just before 2016, to give him another blessing in 2016. He wanted Ashley to accept. Ashley wanted to have the wedding with a rustic, folk theme which reflected her as well as Andrew. Andrew and Ashley incorporated their most loved items for their wedding. Ashley grew in the 40 acres of land selected as the venue for their wedding. Ashley was a keen player and would explore throughout the entire land, even the paths they walked in order to reach it. Additionally, Andrew and Ashley have walked through in the same area several times before they first started dating. Since almost everything was DIY by the bride and groom, it was essential to personalize the wedding. Andrew and Ashley's father built the seating area and the arch used for the ceremony. Ashley painted many of these decorations.
